I'm overwhelmed, but not burnt out. I recently completed the <a rel="external" href="https://hardrock100.com/">Hardrock 100</a> and "attended"<sup class="footnote-reference"><a href="#1">1</a></sup> <a rel="external" href="https://www.barge.org/">BARGE</a>. Those vacations recharged my batteries thoroughly.</p> <p>Although this is the first post in this blog, it's not a "start here" entry. Mb2 is a project I've been working on for over seven years<sup class="footnote-reference"><a href="#2">2</a></sup>.</p> <h2 id="coming-soon">"Coming Soon"</h2> <p>Craftpoker.com has been around for years. We've been playing a tournament a day since <em>before</em> May 1st, 2020<sup class="footnote-reference"><a href="#3">3</a></sup>. Although we've been play-testing in the open, we haven't tried to catch people's attention. I will do so soon, but there's infrastructure that needs to be in place, first. This blog is one piece of that infrastructure, and for now it's a mere placeholder.</p> <h2 id="no-kickstarter-yet">No Kickstarter, yet</h2> <p>The two primary stakeholders of Craft Poker Co. are players and investors.</p> <p>After we get rid of the <a rel="external" href="https://ctm.github.io/docs/players_manual/native-apps.html#microsoft-defender-will-object-to-the-windows-installer">intimidating warning</a> that the Native Windows installer produces and after we get a <a rel="external" href="https://ctm.github.io/docs/players_manual/coming-soon.html#user-interface">nicer UI</a>, we plan to do a Kickstarter, raising money to build out the rest of the <a rel="external" href="https://ctm.github.io/docs/players_manual/coming-soon.html">near-term features</a>.</p> <h2 id="developers">Developers</h2> <p>Mb2 is built on <a rel="external" href="https://rust-lang.org/">Rust</a>, the programming language, <a rel="external" href="https://yew.rs/">Yew</a>, the Rust front-end framework and <a rel="external" href="https://v2.tauri.app/">Tauri</a>, the cross-platform wrapper. Additionally, we use the <a rel="external" href="https://github.com/decentpaste/decentpaste/tree/dev/decentpaste-app/tauri-plugin-decentsecret">DecentSecret Tauri plugin</a> and our own <a rel="external" href="https://github.com/ctm/css-asset-pack">css-asset-pack</a> and <a rel="external" href="https://github.com/ctm/serde_de_chain">serde_de_chain</a>. Although the vast majority of Mb2's source is closed, both css-asset-pack and serde_de_chain are open source.</p> <p>I anticipate writing blog posts for developers<sup class="footnote-reference"><a href="#4">4</a></sup>. <br/> <br/></p> <hr/> <div class="footnote-definition" id="1"> <p>1.
